We are thankful to be able to give back to the community in light of the Covid-19 outbreak. Seeing all of the pain this has brought to families has really opened my eyes to begin giving back with community outreach. In times like these where things are slowed and people have much more time on their hands, it is very important to volunteer and offer help to the many people in need. We know the love and support for our community will only continue to grow in these uncertain times. We will continue to give back in anyway we can. Stay safe and healthy everyone.
One of the things we have done is made a donation to Habitat for Humanity, which happened to be one of the largest they have ever received. On top of donations we also had a drawing for families in need and provided them with groceries as well as gift certificates.
Another thing we have done to help provide for the community was feeding all of our local fire departments in Kona. An essential service that has experienced a massive influx in labor has been the ER department, recognizing such great work and dedication we also provided food services to them. We feel honored to be able to be a part and give back to the wonderful community of Kona.
